The title of this thread is my question - Will you leverage .xml or .ini for FE and emulator configurations? While most .ini are really basic .xml in disguise, I find that I appreciate true .xml schemas. There are times that I prefer to use a "setup wizard" to make changes, but others where digging ...

I assume that the FE controls will pretty much fit close to existing standards. Seems that most users get hung-up on the per emulator and per game CP settings, including yours truly.

Intuitive as in easy to understand. Being able to drag and drop controller graphics and assign keys, buttons, sticks, etc.

I know some like the HTPC integrations and that is fine. But if possible, taking a modular approach may be preferable.
